Christ Community’s vision of worship is this: In worship we do the unthinkable: a broken and impure people come into the presence of a Holy, loving, and forgiving God with honesty, joy, hope, and expectation. We can do this only because of what Jesus has done on our behalf.
We have a “contemporary” style of worship. That basically means that we have acoustic guitars, electric guitars, drums, keyboards, and we play a mix of modern praise songs as well as classic hymns. Our normal Sunday would be me on acoustic guitar, 2-3 vocalists, keyboard, 2 electric guitars, and a drummer. We try to blend contemporary worship tunes with classic hymns to facilitate a worshipful spirit.
The worship team at Christ Community Conyers is made up of regular people like you and me…volunteers…and it would NOT happen without them, and God’s hand in our ministry. I am so thankful for the time, talents, and dedication that each and every member puts into the worship team!

We’re always looking for people with a heart for worship who feel like God is calling them to participate in a leading way. Plus, we really have a great time on Sunday mornings…in practice, AND in worshiping our Savior!
Maybe you want to play around with some of the cool sound system and technology you see in the back! Well, we’re always looking for volunteers for setting up, running sound, and manning the computer for recording and worship projection! Again, just holla!
